The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center in Albuquerque is the state’s only bone marrow transplant facility, offering specialized treatment for blood cancers like lymphoma and myeloma.

It features a multidisciplinary team including nurse managers, social workers, pharmacists, and infusion nurses, dedicated to guiding patients from the initial phase of treatment through completion.

The center is renowned for performing autologous stem cell transplants, a process that involves harvesting the patient’s own stem cells, enabling high-dose chemotherapy with minimized harm to the bone marrow.
